What is the Case Cheetah Cub pattern number? The Cheetah Cub is Case pattern 611 1/2L. The "L" means it's a lock blade, and you'll see the number stamped on the tang along with the Case XX mark.

Is the Cheetah Cub a lockback? Yes. It has one clip-point blade that locks open with a lockback, plus the swing guard the Cheetah line is known for. It closes at 3.5 inches and weighs about 1.9 ounces, so it carries compact in a pocket.
